Creativity & Productivity: “Essential Integration & Harmony that Develop Business Organizations”

Productivity is essential in transforming direction and keeping pace with business organizations’ massive developments today. Also, on the other hand, creativity, by its very nature, sparks huge radical change in these organizations. Paradoxically, creativity and productivity seem to be opposed to quantification. Creativity cannot be measured or quantified, unlike productivity, which can be measured and quantified. So, this can be seen as significant for developing big ideas. But maybe not so much for those ultimate benefits of looming business organizations. Hence, it is necessary to discuss the idea that creativity and productivity are genuinely integrally and harmonious. Or are they fundamentally different?

I believe that creativity leads to productivity, provided the workplace environment is developed and nurtured in a way that integrates and harmonizes together for the best.

Creativity is one of the acquired behaviors the creator earns from the environment around him if all the helping factors such as motivation, learning, innovation, and support are available to him. Therefore, productivity can be achieved by promoting and encouraging creativity in your organization, as it will lead to:

1) Arouse the enthusiasm and passion of the employees

Passion comes as easy as breathing for many people, especially entrepreneurs. But for some, sparking this passion in the workplace requires more motivation.

Therefore, the leader can achieve the desired goals and the organization’s work plan by arousing the enthusiasm and passion of employees to present creative ideas in the work environment.

Regardless of their department or role, employees participating in the creative process can have an idea rather than a to-do list. When employees can own and nurture an idea from inception to implementation. They become more passionate and inspired and will work harder to see their idea come true.

2) Empowering employees and improving their loyalty

Allowing people to make a tangible and visible impact on their work environment is a powerful motivator. No one wants to feel like they’re running blindly through a to-do list that doesn’t have any clear, meaningful impact. So one of the keys to nurturing a creative workplace is giving all employees a way to express their ideas. Bringing these ideas across your entire organization makes your employees feel valued and respected. And spreads fresh, creative thinking throughout your business. Note that this is not only a positive result of productivity. But also has the pleasant side effect of improving loyalty.

3) Remove the fear of failure

Fear of failure paralyzes creative environments and impedes the flow of ideas and productivity. Fear keeps us moving between the lines, eliminating all possibilities for improvement, simplification, or creating new and more efficient ways of working. Hence, giving people freedom and not being afraid of failure is one of the main components of fostering a creative environment. It also encourages creative thinking, innovation, and the achievement of continuous increase in productivity.

4) Handling complex problems

Conceptualization of Productivity is dealing with the same tasks over and over as efficiently as possible. While this is great for your business in many ways. It prevents your employees from challenging themselves to tackle complex and unusual problems. It is one of the main reasons why the prevailing mentality is the mentality of getting used to the same way of working. And always believing in its correctness.

So encouraging creative thinking helps employees see the bigger picture. And benefit from a productive focus on issues that have a more profound business impact.

Although the creative process may seem less productive than just getting work out. Eventually turning those efforts into complex problems, workers’ productivity becomes more rewarding, and businesses thrive.

5) Continuing creative work

Creative ideas—for a new product or a new, more productive workflow—are competitive battlegrounds for organizations. They know that creating environments where creativity can flourish transforms work into continuous creativity and innovation. Because when you allow your employees the freedom always to ask questions. And discuss all issues and ideas related to the creation and develop it, they are never in unproductive places.

In the end, the ability of the work environment to be creative and innovative is imperative for the organization’s success. And for employees to stay in the proper framework to keep pace with new ideas. And then provide a safe environment for employees away from stress because stress does not give way to creative energies.

Creativity is essential for the advancement and development of business organizations. And increasing their productivity, both in terms of increasing employees’ productivity through their growth and attention to them. Or by creating new job opportunities, enhancing communication, and growing expertise and competencies.
